Golden Demon – No Trophy, But A Nice Finalist Badge

GD Final 2019

To follow on from my previous post, Asurvel Menerrys, LED Harlequin Shadowseer, I can confirm that sadly I did not come home from Warhammer Fest 2019 with a Golden Demon trophy. However I did make it into the finals of the ‘Open’ category, and picked-up this cool ‘Finalist’ pin badge for my troubles. So I’m not disappointed, in fact I’m pretty pleased with that as a first attempt. Besides, there’s always next year!

Thanks again to everyone who had kind words and support to share on Twitter and Instagram. If nothing else, I hope everyone found my explanation of how I made my LED Harlequin interesting!

I found pictures of your work (Figures from “The Road to Hellblasters”) on Pinterest long time ago but without any clue about how it was done or more important, who did this.
Each time your pictures are linked with commercial links about glowing paints or painting tutorials about glowing painting effects.
Today, I found again a picture of your work on Pinterest and I tried to find the origin of it one more time and it miraculously happened, I found your website !

I just want to say: your work is really amazing, stunning, impressive, breathtaking, awe inspiring ! (Yes all of that).

And thank you very much for making these tutorials !
    You deserve a coffee ! ^^

By the way, do you take commissions ? If so, can you send me an e-mail ?

    Have a nice day

    1. Hi aendael, thanks for the very kind words (and the coffee 😉). I’m glad you managed to find my websites and the tutorial. I’m afraid I don’t take commissions, as generally it takes me so long to make each model that I wouldn’t be able to charge a sensible price for it. But I’m always happy to answer DMs on Twitter or Instagram if people are attempting to follow my tutorials and need some extra hints and tips. 😊
